Delivery of Results Summer 2025
VTCT Skills are working with Ofqual again this year to ensure the timely delivery of results for its Technical Awards, Technical Certificates and Technical Level Qualifications.
There are term time checkpoints where centres are required to confirm the learners that are expecting to receive results in Summer 2025. VTCT Skills has embedded the term time checkpoints into existing processes to reduce the burden on centres.
Centres are required to inform VTCT Skills of the learners they expect to receive results in Summer 2025 – they do this by following the established process of scheduling learners for the assessments and claiming their certificates by the published checkpoint dates.
- Checkpoint 1: Centres confirm all of the learners that they expect to certificate this academic year. This is the deadline for scheduling for the summer series.
- Checkpoint 2: VTCT Skills confirms that it has all of the information or evidence needed from centres to ensure that it can process a result for each learner.
- Certification: Centres submit a certification claim for all learners that they wish to claim the result.
VTCT Skills uses the term-time checkpoints to cross reference registration data with schedules for the Summer 2025 assessment series, and track certificate claims to ensure that all eligible learners receive results and are able to progress onto the next stage of their education or employment journey.
The term time checkpoints and deadlines for claiming certificates are set out in the key dates document
A centre's failure to engage with the checkpoints has the potential for an adverse effect for their learners and may result in sanctions being applied.
